Poland
Finally! I know it took forever, but we had a lot of photos to go through and whittle down. Even still, there seems to be a ton of photos!
Poland was great. It got up to 35C for a few days, but we were thanking heaven for the rain, and some cloudy days that followed. It was really great to see family and friends on what may be Witold’s last ever trip to his hometown of Góra. It seems that his entire family is relocating to SWEDEN! I was definitely on family overload for a while (in a good way). I got to feel the baby move in my new sister-in-law’s tummy, which made me cry. Aww! They even found out that they’re having a GIRL! Amazing!
It was wonderful to see the countryside – Poland is very beautiful. I had fun improving my Polish language, and there may have been a couple tears shed upon our departure (again, by me…). It was great to see Witold’s childhood home, but i must say that i’m very excited to see the family again over the Christmas holidays in Sweden!

Poland
Hello world!
We are in Poland! Currently we are in Witold’s hometown of Gora, which is about 60 miles south of Poznan. He is originally from Poland, so it’s nice to have a translator around all the time… I definitely need it! I am learning Polish, but don’t know enough to say anything useful yet… mostly just baby talk.
Fortunately, I didn’t need much Polish to take some photos for a maternity session with Witold’s sister and her husband nor for a couples’ shoot with Witold’s brother and his lovely girlfriend. There are some lovely places to take photographs here. , and we’ll definitely be posting another blog with some landscapes and architecture photos later on!
For now, enjoy a sneak peek of Anna + Stoffe + Baby as well as Ewelina + Aleksander

Ardmore in Infrared
Saturday + great weather + Ardmore = great day out. And some infrared photos (a more technical post on this will follow) to prove it.

Dublin
Witold and I went to Dublin last weekend! It was a pretty fun trip, for the most part. I have a hard time with travel in general, because I get terribly motion sick, but other than the 8 hours we spent on a bus and the fact that he forgot his wallet (ahh!), we had a good time.
We walked around the Maritime Festival, and I got to be out in the sunshine. People even asked me about my Vibram Five Fingers! Haha! We saw some pretty interesting stuff, and tasted a little of the fair fare. I tell ya… next time we decide to go to a festival, I’m definitely bringing money just for the food!! I just wanted to eat everything!
We stayed in Isaac’s Hostel. Witold wore a hat. I tried to convince him not to… haha!
Another thing Witold and I discovered we have in common is that we are both really into masts and rigging.

Hello Dublin. I’ve missed you.

Okay. I know. I’m sure every single other person in the world has seen this and gotten a photo. I just couldn’t resist!
CHEESE!!
This smelled so amazingly wonderful. Paella vats!
Some of the Danish Navy relaxing on their ship.
The masts on the Danish ship.
uhmmm…?
Chicago
Finally I made some time and started going through photos taken on my big trip to the US of A last winter.
Not only was it my first trip there, but it was also my first time travelling outside Europe, and most importantly – I was going to get married!
The original flight plan gave me about 2 hours layover in chicago, bad due to bad weather those 2 hours became 7. To pass the time I took public transportation from the airport to downtown Chicago and spent the time walking around, venturing into bookshops (i wouldn’t be myself if i had not), a pub (oh irony – an irish one) and taking photos (which can be seen below).
to be continued…
