We had such a blast with Áine and Richie. They are really such sweet, truly nice people. The weather was so kind, too… after our weekend of beautiful sunshine, this day looked like it wasn’t going to hold out for us, but it did. The rain started to fall just after our final shot, so we were pretty lucky!

They are going to be married this week!!! I can’t believe it’s here already. The time really does fly. Please enjoy this little sneak peek of their fun engagement session.

As everyone knows, Ireland is not known to be the land of sun. We scheduled our engagement session together with Timo and Ruth a week in advance, and spent the entire week up to their appointment crossing our fingers for sun! Wouldn’t you know it? The good Lord blessed us with an amazingly beautiful day and some perfect light to work with! Now let’s keep praying and crossing our fingers for their wedding in November, right?

These two are wonderfully laid back, and since we are too – it was the perfect photographer/client relationship. I honestly felt like i was taking photos of some of my close friends the entire shoot! We had a lot of fun together… it never seems to feel like “work” when that happens. I love my job.

Speaking of which – i have to confess to the amazingness of having my husband as another photographer along on the shoots. He captures moments that i don’t and wow. Today i was looking over some of Timo and Ruth’s photos that i had taken, and i was delighted with the end result! When i finished my own photos, i started looking over Witold’s photos… wow! It’s like Christmas! His photos are so fun and he remembers details that i dont. It’s wonderful to have some extra photos of a shot i loved, with a different spin on them. My husband is my favorite companion photographer!!! haha

We had a beautiful spot of luck with the light for this shoot! It was a gloomy Saturday, and spitting rain for most of the morning on our drive to Waterford to meet Grainne and Mark. It must have been fated that the skies clear up and the sun came out moments after we had met and headed out to our shoot together!

These two are so fun to be around, and Grainne has the most happy smile I think I’ve ever found in a bride and groom. She just radiates warmth, and you can tell that Mark knows he’s a lucky guy.

We are really looking forward to being a part of their upcoming wedding in early 2011!
