Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions that we get asked pretty often (as the title suggests). We will add to this list as we can, but if you have a question that isn’t on this list, please don’t hesitate to send us an email!

Q.) Do you only photograph weddings?

A.) No! We love to photograph families, expecting mothers, and are currently building our portfolio to include newborns! Contact us for pricing of these types of sessions!

Q.) Do you travel for weddings?

A.) Definitely! We love to travel and have photographed weddings all over Ireland, Sweden, England, and throughout the United States (even Alaska!).

As weddings are customarily planned many months if not years ahead, we can usually reserve tickets for the least expensive fares available on a particular route. Flights within the EU can be found from €200 round trip and to major cities in the US like  New York, Boston, and even Seattle can cost as little as €800 round trip (or less). Basically, it all depends on how soon you need us and where you are.

We also invite clients to make travel arrangements for/with us should they prefer – or even obtain tickets in exchange for their frequent flyer miles – which, with some airlines, is the very best option when a last-minute booking is required.

Q.) Do you pose us?

A.) Sure. Everyone needs a little direction for things like family photos and artistic individual photos. We will help arrange you into an aesthetic position - but don’t confuse “posing” with “stiffness”. We have found that things usually fall into place with minimal direction. We will do whatever we can to make you, your family, and your guests feel comfortable and get natural expressions for your photos. Our approach to these types of images is very relaxed and fun. Typically these “formal” type of photos only take thirty minutes or less with an average size family, and can go even quicker with your (the bride or groom’s) help.

Otherwise, we try to blend with the guests during your day, as we believe that your memories should be in the photographs rather than of the photographs.

Q.) Will our photos be in colour or black and white?

A.) We will show the majority of your photos in colour, some in both black and white and colour, and others with different types of processing.

Q.) What is our investment?

A.) Our wedding collections range from €1200 for simple coverage, to €2700 and up for the brides and grooms looking to savour every single moment of their day. Each package we offer includes an album of some sort.

Family and maternity photos start from as little as €100.

Most importantly, we would love to meet up and connect with you! This will help you decide if we would be a good match together, and we can work on creating a custom collection that not only fits within your budget, but also gives attention to what you value most.

Q.) Do you offer digital negatives?

A.)Yes. However, not all of our collections include them. Our albums are stunning and we like to see each of our couples walk away with one. Every client that does, receives the disc of negatives as a thank you. We try and put emphasis on a priceless heirloom such as an album instead of on a fragile disc that can potentially scratch and stop working.

Q.) How do I book you?

A.) Yaaay! Our booking process is simple. After we meet together and learn a bit about each other, we will help you build a custom collection or select one that we have already laid out.  We will send you a contract to look over or have one present for you to sign, if you’re ready. A deposit of 50%, with your signed contract are required to reserve your date with remaining 50% due at session. We realize that professional photography can be quite an investment and if you need other payment arrangements please don’t hesitate to ask, and we will try to accommodate you.
